Health insurance company forms Cayman SPC

A Florida insurance firm has formed a Cayman-domiciled Segregated Portfolio Company (SPC) in March, one of three new captives licensed by Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) this month.

Fortex Reinsurance SPC, Ltd, Gamma Reinsurance Company, Ltd and Gunna Re are the three captives to obtain a Class B licence this month.
