Strategic Risk Solutions Luxembourg has appointed Alain Sougnez as client services leader.
Sougnez is also an approved director of reinsurance companies.
He has spent 19 years at fellow Luxembourg captive manager Risk and Reinsurance Solutions (2RS), where he was an approved captive manager and reinsurance administrator.
“I thank all the people I met during this period and wish them the best for the future,” Sougnez said on LinkedIn.
SRS has made a number of additional hires in recent months, expanding its Dubin office at the start of November with the appointment of Liam Duffy from Marsh, while another two senior team members are expected to join in the coming months.
At the end of September, SRS partnered with Strategica Group to form SRS Italy, billed as the first specialised insurance management company in the country.
