AM Best has assigned a financial strength rating of ‘A-’ (excellent) and a long-term issuer credit rating of “a-” (excellent) to Vermont-domiciled National Grid Insurance USA. (NGIUSA). The outlook for the ratings is stable.
NGIUSA is the single parent captive owned by National Grid plc, a large utility group. The captive was formed in 2023 and is managed by Aon.
