Florence Re becomes France’s fifth captive of 2026

France has licensed its fifth captive of 2026, adding reinsurance entity Florence Re at the end of last month.

The new captive was authorised by the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) on 21September.
